Good afternoon everyone,
Please find at the bottom of this e-mail the dates, times and locations for upcoming Police Street Surgeries. I have been asked to complete a surgery at Newington Grove. This will be completed this evening, with all details towards the bottom of this e-mail.
Missing Children Found
Yesterday evening (11/05/26) myself and officers were made aware of two missing children from the Trentham area. I remained on duty to assist with the search and with the fantastic help of the community, I was able to locate the two children on New Inn Lane. Both were returned safe and well to their families - Thank you to everyone who helped me!.
A34 – Speeding Concerns – CCTV In response to the concerns raised regarding vehicles speeding along the A34, particularly between the Trentham Gardens roundabout and the Monkey Forest, the Council’s Anti-Social Behaviour Team have placed this deployable CCTV camera near to the Monkey Forest roundabout.
This camera records 24/7 and will act both as a deterrent and as an evidence gathering tool, in relation to those who choose to travel at excessive speeds. These camera’s are deployed in locations where we have issues, such as anti-social behaviour and speeding. The reports that you make will help retain this camera at this location for as long as it is needed. Should you have any concerns about speeding at this or any other location, please call 101 (in non-emergencies) 999 (in emergencies) – non-emergency incidents can also be reported online at www.staffordshire.police.uk.

‘We knocked to Check You Locked’
I have launched a new crime prevention initiative in Trentham and Hanford, which I have created, called ‘We Knocked to Check You Locked’. I have created this initiative following looking at patterns and trends in historical and recent crime incidents, both here and in other parts of the city. The initiative is going well, with addresses on Pacific Rd and Rolfe Cl being visited over the last few days. I cannot visit every address, therefore please could you pass on this advice to friends, family, neighbours and on social media - thank you!
Over the coming weeks and months, I will be visiting addresses throughout the Trentham and Hanford area to speak with residents and promote the importance of locking your vehicle, removing valuables and ensuring that doors to properties are locked.
By taking these simple but important steps, it can be incredibly effective in preventing crime. Trentham and Hanford is a fantastic place to live and I want it to be as safe as possible, and part of achieving this is by taking away the opportunities for those who seek to carry out criminal acts here.
Therefore as part of your daily routine… Lock your vehicle when leaving it unoccupied and remove valuables Lock and secure your properties doors
If you would like any further crime prevention advice, please do not hesitate to contact myself.
